At Bouygues Telecom, combining the purchase of a smartphone with a Sensation plan spreads the cost of the phone over time. If you don’t want to go out 1000 euros for the purchase of the latest naked iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, this is a choice to consider.
Until now, the operator has put forward two options: either pay for the smartphone in cash (cheaper because you commit to a Sensation plan for 24 months), or use the free payment facility to dilute the cost in time. This last possibility allowed you to reduce the cost of the smartphone at the time of purchase, then spread the reimbursement over 24 months (at the rate of 8 euros per month over this period).
Today, Bouygues Telecom goes even further to relieve the French budget: it offers a solution Smartphone financing which makes it possible to further mitigate the cost of the smartphone when purchasing. Subject to acceptance by its third-party partner Younited, you will be able to finance your smartphone over 36 months in no outgoing only one euro during your purchase.
This concerns the most premium smartphones, like the iPhone 13, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra or the new Galaxy Z Flip4 and the OPPO Reno8 5G.
The Galaxy Z Flip4 from 1 euro
To help you understand this Smartphone Financing mechanism, we will take a concrete example with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. This folding smartphone released at the beginning of August is sold for 1109 euros through all official channels.
If you take a classic Sensation 170 GB package with a 24-month commitment from Bouygues Telecom, you can take advantage of the operator discount to buy it for 500 euros. That said, you still have to pay this amount, which is not nothing at the start of the school year. Until now, you could already take advantage of the operator’s free payment facility, which reduced the buy-it-now price to 229 euros, then 8 euros per month for 24 months (that is 421 in total).
To go even further, there is now also the Younited solution. Subject to acceptance, your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 will only cost you one euro at the time of purchase. The cost of the smartphone will then be spread over time, over 36 months, at the rate of 13.89 euros per month (i.e. 500 euros in total). In other words, Bouygues Telecom considerably reduces the cost of the Korean folding phone.
Thanks to the operator discount, you can therefore get the smartphone at less than half the official price. At the same time, you will have to pay the contribution for the Sensation 170 GB package mentioned above. This includes unlimited calls / SMS / MMS and 170 GB of data (+ 80 GB from Europe, DOM, United States, Canada and Switzerland) for 31.99 euros per month during the first year. Beyond that, you will have to pay 48.99 euros per month.
This mobile plan requires a 24-month commitment: it is therefore less than the spreading period of Smartphone Financing, which can go up to 36 months. You can therefore choose at this time between extending your subscription to Bouygues Telecom or canceling your subscription. Small bonus if you are a Bbox customer: you will receive an additional discount of 6 euros per month over the entire subscription period of your Sensation 170 GB package.
All premium smartphones affected
This new Smartphone Financing solution concerns almost all the most recent references. Besides the latest Galaxy Z Flip4, you can also enjoy it on Samsung’s premium smartphone (Galaxy S22 Ultra) or iPhone 13. If your budget is more limited, cheaper models like Galaxy A13 or Reno8 5G are also eligible to this financing over 36 months at Bouygues Telecom.
To take a final example, on one of the telecom operator’s bestsellers, the iPhone 13. The latter costs 879 euros in its 128 GB version by default. You can claim the operator discount of 374 euros (which drops the smartphone to 505 euros) if you take a Sensation 170 GB plan with a 24-month commitment. With Smartphone Financing, this same iPhone 13 will only cost you 1 euro down payment on the day of purchase. Then, you will be charged 20.87 euros per month for 24 months.
With the price of smartphones continuing to soar, Bouygues Telecom provides a real solution with its Smartphone Financing option. Not only can you get the device cheaper thanks to the operator discount, but above all you seriously spread the reimbursement over time. Even better, the phone will only cost you one euro at the time of purchase!
