Jonathann Daval in a relationship with a fellow prisoner? “He met a boy a little older than him”, reports a French media

The information is reported by our colleagues from BFM TV. Jonathann Daval, sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of his wife Alexia in 2017, found love behind bars. Imprisoned in the central house of Ensisheim, “He met a boy a little older than him, with whom he lives a story of prisoner”, indicates Dominique Rizet, police-justice consultant for the French media.

While this information is an integral part of his private life, it is disclosed because it could be considered as a key element in this affair where many “unspoken” remain, as indicated by Dominique Rizet.

Facing the bar, Jonathann Daval had not been able to explain his act. He had described a companion “violent in word and deed” and who “humiliated him”. He returned to the complicated situation of their couple, linked in particular to his erection problems. He had maintained that, like Alexia, he wanted a child. But that his problems prevented them.

‘Even if I get naked in front of him, nothing happens’

“He had everything and despite that, it wouldn’t work (…) It was told at the assizes, he had erectile dysfunction, he was taking medication. Talking to one of her friends, Alexia had said a day ‘Even if I get naked in front of him, nothing happens. He doesn’t even look at me'”, reports Dominique Rizet.

For her part, the mother of the condemned denies this relationship. “Jonathann assures me it’s wrong”, she lets go. Jonathann Daval’s lawyer, Randall Schwerdorffer, defended his client’s privacy on BFMTV: “He wishes he had a right to be forgotten.”

The partly charred body of Alexia Daval, 29, was found in October 2017 in a wood near her home in Gray-la-Ville (Haute-Saône), after her husband Jonathann reported her missing. After showing the face of a grieving widower for three months, the computer scientist was confused by the gendarmes. He had finally admitted to the murder of his wife and was sentenced to 25 years in prison in November 2020.
