Two giant mappings to celebrate Scopitone until Saturday

He is back. Scopitone, the festival of electronic cultures and digital arts, opens this Wednesday evening and until Saturday in Nantes. This traditional back-to-school event also celebrates its twentieth edition this year. For the occasion, two spectacular and free audiovisual proposals are available in the public space.

First there is a mapping on the buildings of the castle of the Dukes of Brittany, signed Yann Nguema. Visible from the courtyard, the monumental work of about ten minutes can be discovered without interruption from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Images on a droplet screen

In the same spirit, the artist Joanie Lemercier offers another monumental and astonishing mapping on the banks of the Erdre, at the level of the Ceineray quay and the Bateau-lavoir, based on “three-dimensional images” projected on a fine droplet screen. Also accessible continuously from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Scopitone is also many concerts, in particular during the two famous “Electro Nights”, Friday and Saturday at Stereolux (please note, there are few places left). Performances, meetings, conferences are also on the program until Saturday evening.
